About
Learning & Development Resources
At Learning & Development Resources, our mission is to help families move from reactive problem-solving to intentional growth. We address immediate concerns while strengthening the foundational skills that support learning and independence. Our care is evidence-based, holistic, and highly individualized for infants through school-age children. From your first visit, you’ll experience thoughtful, strategic support designed to create lasting change in your child’s academic and developmental path.
Our developmental approach recognizes that higher-level skills are built on a strong foundation. Just as a pyramid relies on its base for stability, a child’s learning and academic success depend on earlier developing systems.
At the foundation is nervous system regulation—a child’s ability to manage attention, stress, and emotional responses.
From there, children develop sensory-motor skills, including body awareness, coordination, and the ability to process sensory information.
These skills support communication, allowing children to express ideas, understand language, and interact socially.
With these foundations in place, academic skills such as reading, writing, and problem-solving can develop more easily.
Ultimately, our goal is to support self-efficacy—helping children build the confidence, independence, and resilience they need to succeed in learning and in life.
By addressing the underlying stages of child development rather than focusing only on surface challenges, we create meaningful and lasting progress.
